Teaching YL + Teens Course

Teaching YL + Teens (Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers) is a practical methodology course for English language teachers working with children (ages 6–12) and teenagers (ages 13–17).

The program was developed by Grade Education Centre's expert methodologists, who have years of hands-on experience working with school-age students.

The Teaching YL + Teens course is designed for teachers who:

Are currently teaching or planning to teach in primary or secondary schools;
Want to improve their skills in teaching English to young learners (ages 6–12) and teenagers (ages 13–17);
Aim to make their lessons more dynamic and engaging;
Seek effective ways to meet student needs and teach clearly;
Value experience sharing and constructive feedback from their tutor and peers.

How does the course work?

40 hours

Theoretical input sessions with the tutor on Zoom

Self-study on Grade University platform (“The Basics of Lesson Planning” course)

Observation and analysis of two recorded lessons (Young Learners & Teens)
