Teaching Kids & Teens is a practical methodology course for English language teachers working with children (ages 6–12) and teenagers (ages 13–17).

The program was developed by Grade Education Centre's expert methodologists, who have years of hands-on experience working with school-age students.

The Teaching Kids & Teens course is designed for teachers who:

  • Are currently teaching or planning to teach in primary or secondary schools;
  • Want to improve their skills in teaching English to young learners (ages 6–12) and teenagers (ages 13–17);
  • Aim to make their lessons more dynamic and engaging;
  • Seek effective ways to meet student needs and teach clearly;
  • Value experience sharing and constructive feedback from their tutor and peers.

How does the course work?

40 hours

Total course duration (shown on certificate)

Theoretical input sessions with the tutor on Zoom

10 hours

Self-study on Grade University platform (“The Basics of Lesson Planning” course)

3 hours

Observation and analysis of two recorded lessons (Young Learners & Teens)

2 hours

Homework tasks to reinforce learning
after input sessions

Written Assignment assessed by the tutor
