CELTA/DELTA Terms and Conditions

Booking Conditions

By booking a course at Grade, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Deposit

To reserve a place on the selected course, a deposit must be paid. This deposit forms part of the total course fee. The deposit amount depends on the course:

  • CELTA — 7000 UAH
  • DELTA Module 1 — 5000 UAH
  • DELTA Module 2 — 10,000 UAH
  • DELTA Module 3 — no deposit required

Your place on the selected course is confirmed only once the bank transfer for the deposit has been received and verified. Prior to that, your application does not constitute an official reservation.

If necessary, you may transfer your booking to another course once only, and before the starting date of the course originally selected.

Age Requirements

The minimum age for participation in a course is 18 years.

Attendance and Absence

CELTA/DELTA candidates are required to attend sessions regularly and arrive on time.

In the event of lateness, absence from sessions, or early withdrawal from the course, the course fee is non-refundable.

Code of Conduct

The Centre reserves the right to terminate a candidate’s participation without a refund if their behaviour makes continued study impossible or inappropriate.

Assessment and Results

The CELTA/DELTA course is assessed on a Pass/Fail basis.

If you receive a Fail, you do not receive a certificate, and the fees paid for the course and the Cambridge assessment fee are non-refundable.

Candidates may request an official appeal of their final confirmed result, but this procedure is carried out by Cambridge English and requires payment of an administrative fee.

Special Offers

Discounts cannot be applied to bookings that have already been made. Only one discount can be applied per booking.

Cancellation or Rescheduling of Courses

We do our best to ensure your participation in the selected course; however, we cannot guarantee a place on a specific course or schedule before the interview stage is completed.

A course may be cancelled or rescheduled at our initiative. In such cases, we will offer an alternative of equivalent value or provide a refund.

If the educational service is not provided due to our fault, we will refund 100% of the fees paid. If the service is partially provided, we will refund the remaining amount for the part not received.

You may request to change your course start date, subject to availability. Course rescheduling is possible for up to 12 months, provided that the originally chosen course has not yet started. In the case of cancellation or rescheduling initiated by the candidate, deposits are non-refundable.

Refunds are available if the request is submitted before the course start date:

  • No later than 15 working days (3 weeks) before the start date: full course fee refunded (excluding the deposit).
  • From 15 working days (3 weeks) up to the start date: 50% of the course fee refunded (excluding the deposit).
  • After the course has started, both the fees and the deposit are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not permitted.

All refunds are processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.

Refunds can only be made to the same bank account or card used for the original payment.

Courses that have been rescheduled and later cancelled fall under the same refund conditions that applied at the time of the original rescheduling.

Cambridge English CELTA Assessment Fee

In addition to the course fee, each participant must pay the Cambridge English CELTA assessment fee of £139, DELTA Module 2 assessment fee — £160, DELTA Module 3 assessment fee — £112. This amount is set and can be changed by Cambridge University.

This fee can be paid during the course.

Courses for Candidates Residing in Russia or Belarus

Cambridge University Press & Assessment has suspended all activities in Russia and Belarus for the duration of the war in Ukraine.

Candidates residing in the territory of Russia or Belarus cannot be enrolled in Teaching Qualification courses (including CELTA, DELTA, etc.).
