TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) is a series of module tests from Cambridge Assessment English for teachers of English.
All our TKT preparation courses are part of the Grade Teacher program approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to be used in general education institutions as part of compulsory professional development ( Letter № 22.1 / 12-Г-329) Course certificate of one module can be included as 30 hours of compulsory professional development for teachers.
All TKT programsWe have designed preparation courses for 4 ТКТ modules at Grade Education Centre:
In each preparation course, there are 10 online classes 90 minutes each with an experienced trainer
Home assignments (articles, video-lessons, etc) and consolidating what has been learned in practical tasks
Working with materials necessary for successful completion of a relevant TKT module
Extensive practice on tasks in TKT exam format
TKT Preparation Courses are courses for teachers of English who are working or starting to work using the communicative approach and would like to get structured theoretical knowledge about this method.
The courses are taught by our qualified trainers, who have considerable experience in teaching as well as teacher training. After sessions, you will get feedback on home assignments and explanations and clarifications of all difficult topics.

TKT Module 1 preparation course will introduce you to the common terms and concepts in English language teaching. During the course, we look at learning English from different perspectives – from the point of view of learning a language as well as from the perspective of teaching principles (how, what for and what kind of materials should be used).

Lesson Planning and Use of Resources in Language Teaching
TKT Module 2 preparation course focuses on what a teacher should consider and do while planning a lesson or a series of lessons. We will look at linguistic and methodological resources that will guide teachers in their lesson planning. We will also learn about a range of materials and other tools that can help a teacher make their lessons as effective as possible.

TKT Module 3 preparation course focuses on the knowledge of what happens in the classroom in terms of the language used by the teacher and learners, as well as of how different roles fulfilled by the teacher can help them manage the class, and how different interaction patterns can be effectively exploited in the classroom.

TKT: YL preparation course is designed for teachers who work with children aged 6 to 12. We will discuss the concepts related to children’s learning and development, and look at learners from a teaching perspective: how to plan and deliver lessons, how to assess young learners’ work, etc.

After completing a preparation course, our graduates get a certificate from Grade Education Centre, issued according to all the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
You do not have to take an exam after a preparation course. However, if you want to get an international certificate from Cambridge Assessment English which doesn’t have an expiry date, it is necessary to register amd successfully pass a TKT exam.
TKT is a paper-based exam, and it is necessary to register for it in advance.
All our graduates get a 10% discount on taking the TKT module they have been preparing for in our centre.
TKT modules can be taken separately and in any order or combination.
